  If I could rate a negative number I would. My mother passed away July 18, 2014. Her wishes were to be cremated, my Father who is 86 yrs. old granted those wishes for her.
  My father wanted to do the right thing and called Humenik, thinking her cremation would be done with a little bit of class..Not so, the final picture of my mother was horrifying to say the least. They received my mothers ashes back from the crematorium on July 22, 2014, my father called on July 31 asking where her ashes were, they responded, "she has been here for 2 weeks" ??????? My dad paid $3300.00, for them to send him a picture that was thrown together, a card board box that her ashes were put into, no call on her remains, (he called) and all they did was take her body to the crematorium and brought her back...Not worth $3300.00, no apology, no sympathy. My father could have had the coroner pick her up, they would cremate her and they would called when her ashes were ready to be picked up, So essentially they would have done the exact same thing for $900.00. I wouldn't take my dead dog to this place, I feel they take advantage of people who are grieving and at their most vulnerable state.

  Buried my mother-in-law today. This is the 2nd time we have used Humenik Funeral Home. Funeral director Matthew O'Donnell deserves 5+ stars. His compassion, professionalism, and dedication to the concerns of the family down to the smallest detail is second to none.
