  • A sacred shrine with roots very deep in the history of the Cleveland community.

  • I love everything about this church, it is awe-inspiring! It is a church built out of love, with some of Poland's finest craftsmen and carpenters emigrating to Little Warsaw, Cleveland, OH over a century ago build this beautiful church. I walk inside and leave all life's worries behind once I sit in the hand-crafted red oak pews, and stare up at the wooden altar filled w/ Saints, and a pelican, that rises 2 stories high. The sermons are meaningful, and the congregation always friendly. This church is one of Cleveland's hidden treasures. Yesterday, I heard the most beautiful singer, with a trombone, trumpet, bass drum and piano backing him. It was like listening to the angels sing.
Note: The pelican is placed on the altar because it symbolizes unselfish love. In times of famine, it will stab itself in the chest with its beak, to draw blood to feed to its babies.
